Technology and production standards of SIP panels and houses built with them
SIP Houses are a modern solution for those seeking the perfect combination of energy efficiency, durability, and fast construction
The materials used in SIP panels are safe for health and comply with modern environmental standards.
SIP panels have a high level of thermal insulation (U-factor ranging from 0.27 to 0.11 W/(m²*K)), significantly reducing heating and cooling cost
The structure can withstand high loads, ensuring the stability and reliability of the building for decades.
Building with SIP panels is more affordable due to the faster installation, lower material costs, and the lightweight structure.
MAIN STAGES OF PRODUCTION
Preparation of materials
Our specialists prepare the necessary materials according to the project. To manufacture the panels, OSB or other high-quality materials are used as the outer layer. As the insulating layer, we use materials with high thermal insulation properties – EPS foam.
Panel forming
Adhesive application and layering:
- A special single-component polyurethane adhesive is applied to one side of the OSB board to ensure reliable bonding of materials.
- Next, a layer of EPS foam with the required thickness is evenly laid on this board to achieve the necessary level of thermal insulation.
- A second OSB board, also pre-coated with adhesive, is then applied on top of the polystyrene layer. This results in a panel with two outer OSB layers and an inner layer of EPS foam.

Pressing
- The assembled structure is placed into a press, where high pressure ensures intensive bonding of the materials.
- This process helps achieve uniformity of the panel and minimizes the presence of air pockets, which positively affects the thermal insulation properties and overall strength of the panels.
Cutting
- The finished panels are cut according to the architectural and structural design plans.

Quality control and additional processing
Each panel undergoes inspection to ensure it meets technical specifications such as strength, bonding uniformity, and insulation performance.
This technological process ensures the production of high-quality SIP panels, which are widely used in the construction of residential and commercial buildings due to their energy efficiency, fast installation, and durability.

CONSTRUCTION USING LARGE-PANEL ASSEMBLY
Progressive House company uses large-panel assembly technology in the construction of SIP panel houses. This means that the main elements of the house are pre-assembled at the factory, and only their connection is carried out on-site. This approach has a number of advantages:
The construction of a house takes minimal time, significantly reducing construction timelines. The production time for a house up to 100 m2 is up to 2 months. Installation time ranges from 2 to 7 days. For houses larger than 100 m2, production and installation times may increase.
The large-panel assembly method allows installation at any time of the year without compromising the quality of the structure.
Due to the pre-fabrication of panels at the production site, errors during installation are eliminated.
With this technology, building becomes more efficient, ensuring clients get a reliable, well-built, and quickly constructed house.
